I'm a Midlands journalist, working in Worcester, living in Coventry having grown up and learned my trade in Birmingham - I like to get about a bit! I've worked on weekly regional newspapers as a newsdesk reporter, did a bit of freelance sports reporting and then moved into the online world.
Experiencing the transition of media from print to online, I quickly adapted to work on a commercial news website focusing on Birmingham and the wider Midlands. From there, my production colleagues elbowed me into learning some technical skills in web design and now I find myself almost back where I started - on a printed newspaper, only working in the new field of business!
I am sure I could bore you with all the dull details of my working life but all you really need to know is that I like an opinion. On everything.
